Meet the Designer: Kelly Shipley of Dig’n Designs

Hi, I’m Kelly Shipley.  A Surface and Textile Designer, founder of Dig’n Designs, and creator of pattern collections that are rooted in warmth, elegance, and everyday beauty.

My journey started with digital scrapbooking, back when I fell in love with the idea of capturing memories and stories through art. Over time, that hobby grew into something much more intentional. I began creating original patterns from scratch, combining my background in digital design with a passion for timeless, high-end aesthetics.

Today, I design surface patterns for fabric, wallpaper, home goods, and more.  Each collection is crafted with care and a deep love for story driven design. Whether it’s a floral repeat for fabric or a soft texture for throw pillows, every piece is designed to feel personal, refined, and cozy.

What sets my work apart is its quiet detail. I’m drawn to classic beauty, subtle texture, and a soft, nostalgic feeling that lives well in both modern and traditional spaces. My collections are trend-aware but never trend-dependent. Meant to last, not just follow what's popular.
