For me, design is about more than creating pretty patterns.  It’s about surrounding myself, and you, with the kind of beauty that makes life feel a little more effortless and welcoming.

Why design matters
When I designed this floral trellis pattern, I was drawn to the soft blues, buttery yellows, and gentle greens that remind me of quiet mornings and blooming gardens. These hues carry nostalgia while still feeling fresh, like a bridge between the past and the present. It’s a reminder that beauty doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful.  Sometimes it’s the subtle touches that transform a space.

And here’s the truth: beauty shouldn’t be reserved for big occasions or magazine-perfect homes. It belongs in the everyday.  In the throw blanket you wrap around your shoulders, the pillow you sink into, or even the notebook you reach for during a busy day.

I’ve discovered that when we intentionally choose items that bring us joy, our homes begin to reflect our values. They feel like sanctuaries.  Spaces that calm us, inspire us, and make us proud to welcome others in. A thoughtfully chosen pattern, color palette, or décor piece doesn’t just decorate your home, it tells your story.
